-breathing,
and more. For example? I baked some cookies and ate 3 of them. Yep. That's some quality loving :)
In other news, it's been a good week. The Fall Extravaganza went well, I sold more than I had hoped to and made a lot of connections. Thanks to all who came out and helped make the day a success! I was really honored and thankful for the praise that I received and was also invited to join the Hutchinson Photography Club. They meet and have an expo on Nov. 19th which I intend to attend.
Tuesday morning was a normal fall day. I went to school wearing only a sweater, and when I surfaced from chemistry lab late in the day there was 3 inches of snow on the ground and falling fast! I nearly fell over in shock! Apparently this was in the forecast but I haven't watched the news or picked up a newspaper in months, no joke. My brain is so overloaded this semester that I've been floating through the rest of life on auto-pilot (which brings to mind the self-neglect that I need to work on improving).
There is always such wonder in that first snow, in addition to the stark beauty that the blanket of white brings. We had several more inches by Wednesday morning but woke to blue skies and sunshine. And how I love that sunshine! Having lived in Washington state for several years, I've come to appreciate that Minnesota has sunshine year round, even on days when the temperature is below zero. Sister Sun is an essential part of my life.
I now have a paper to finish and some chemistry to study. Enjoy the beauty of nature, and remember to breathe.
Peace!
