We've been blessed with another gorgeous fall. Periods of rain, offset by lovely sunshine. The colors are changing and the possibility of snow is in the air. Are you ready? I've been starting my mornings with a cup of tea and burning the Leaves candle by Bath and Body Works--absolutely divine! I also just purchased what may be the world's coziest sweater from Target. I look forward to spending my winter in it. :)
I was lucky enough to spend last Sunday and Monday at Clare's Well again, this time as a house-sitter. There were no guests, they just needed somebody to stay over and feed the animals. A beautiful weekend, I was able to spend much of Sunday frolicking in the sunshine with my camera. I captured some gorgeous shots around the farm. Chickens, goats, guineas, and cats always keep me entertained, as well as the gorgeous landscape, gardens, Sabbath pond, and a delightful sunset. I also brought my homework along and had some quality peace that enabled me to get things done.
On Wednesday I joined in celebrating my niece Elle's first birthday. Absolutely adorable, I've attached a photo of her with her fairy wings and wand from auntie. It was nice to see the family for a few hours. My sister and mom then left for Canada to see my mummu (grandma) for the weekend. It's MEA, which gives us a four day weekend. I decided to stick around home and get things accomplished--both school and photography related. We had midterms this week, which means we're already halfway through the semester. Wow!
Friday night I met a friend Dusty at Ruby Tuesday's in Edina. I had the salad bar and some bbq ribs. Delicious! We then watched Runner, Runner with Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck--it was good but it's one you could wait for on DVD, nothing too exciting. Ending with PF Changs, we ordered drinks and shared their Tuna Tataki--very lightly seared slices of tuna. It was a wonderful evening!
All in all, it's been a busy month with many accomplishments. Less than two weeks now until Harmony River's Fall Extravaganza, where I will be selling notecard sets and framed prints. November 2nd from 9am-2pm, I'd love to see you there! Contact me for location details.
Enjoy these crisp days when you are still able to leave the house and not yet have the snot freeze in your nostrils. I certainly have enjoyed my long walks, where I'm beginning to add an extra layer. Fall is such a beautiful time of year, soak it up!
Peace to all.
