I've been working a lot now that school is out.
Saturday after work I was at mom and dads, swung by Kathy's for a good chat on the deck, and finished with supper at the parents'.
Sunday was my lazy day—I sure do love reserving that one day for ME time every week.
Monday I got home from work and realized I HAVE NO HOMEWORK!!! It was muy exciting, I must say.
Tuesday after work I took 5 of my 8 nieces and nephews for the afternoon. We had supper and later had ice cream for dessert. Two of them fell asleep on the way home—I think that means auntie did a good job wearing them out! :) Lots of fun and giggles, these kids really warm my heart.
On Wednesday after work I met Kathy and Sam at the college and we had a good hour-long chat sesh. I miss the walks and time we spent together when school was in session! And Kathy is teaching in Ukraine this fall so will be leaving in August. Will sure miss this lady!
Thursday after work (Independence Day) I went out to mom and dads (they were in Wyoming). I swam, vacuumed the pool, had a few drinks and ended with a nap in the sunshine. What a GREAT way to celebrate MY independence along with that of our country.
Friday and today I've worked until 3, followed by a nap and an early bedtime.
Next week starts to get a bit busier again, I have class Monday and Thursday in Willmar for the next 6 weeks. That will kick summer right out the door! As much as I enjoy relaxation, I look forward to fall semester starting where I'll have a routine. I plan to take 18 credits so it'll be an insanely busy routine, but routine nonetheless and I like that.
Here's to summer! I hope to have a super Sunday, let's spread the smiles with the sunshine.
Hugs to anyone experiencing their own pain, be it physical or not. Life is beautiful and sunny days are ahead!
