Just finals week remaining now in college. I had two finals Thursday (proud of my A's on both!) so I'm halfway done with them. It's been a wild and crazy semester that went by at mach-speed.
I got my ears pierced last weekend. I'd been thinking about it for several weeks and decided to go for it, I'm loving the look. It'll be a while before I can begin to switch them out but I look forward to doing some accessorizing.
I booked a trip to the state of Washington in several weeks, I leave Jan. 10th. I look forward to both meeting new friends, and reconnecting with old friends. Having lived there for 2 years, its now been 18 months since I've last visited and I decided a trip was in order. I really look forward to meeting some amazing people that I've been in touch with through the Extoots blog. You can learn more about the church that I was raised in on this website.
Shortly after my return to Minnesota I'll be heading to Costa Rica to study for 8 weeks, I am looking forward to it immensely. The cultural experience will be amazing and I look forward to learning Spanish; I have a feeling this will greatly benefit me in my nursing career. I will also be taking Environmental Science and Creative Writing. A professor from Ridgewater, Kathy Steffen, will be teaching the Creative Writing class. I look forward to spending some time with her as she's been in Ukraine this fall semester (so far staying safe despite the protests in Kyiv).
This afternoon my sister Katrina and I went and watched Scrooge, the Musical, at the Black Box Theater in St. Cloud. We went with a school group and had a great time! When we returned home around 1:00 in the morning we decided to go play in the snow for a bit. It was snowing , and cold (7°F), but we had some fun. I placed my camera on a tripod and snapped a few photos. We've been sharing an apartment for 2½ years but will be moving out at the end of this month. These photos are going to be great to look back on, they really capture the fun we have together.
I hope all are in good health and bright spirits this holiday season. The busiest days are yet to come!
Stay safe, and warm, and well.
Peace ♥
