Another week gone by in the blink of an eye...
The week in review: it was a tiring one. Since the family was busy on Fathers Day, we had supper and a get-together on Tuesday at my parents’. Tuesday afternoon my legs started hurting—my left knee in particular. Had a good time with the family—nieces and nephews especially. I promised them a fun day followed by a sleepover sometime this summer, I better get on that since June is almost gone!
Wednesday I worked until 3, followed by an in-service at our Lake Minnetonka campus from 4 to 5. Mom brought a book and came along; we were able to chat a bit during the drive. After the in-service we met my aunt Phyllis at Scotty-B’s for supper.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday I’ve been working during the day and doing homework in the evening. I did sneak in a couple of naps—I have fibromyalgia and this was the most painful week I’ve had in 6 months. The thunderstorm activity really got everything worked up and I definitely felt it! Opting to stay away from long-term drug treatment, during weeks like this I wonder if it’s worth it. But, I know it always gets better and sunny days are ahead. Today I’m really feeling some relief. Yay!
My mom, sisters and I are taking off for Wyoming in the morning to see the new baby, Jacey. I so look forward to munching the little one and congratulating her new mom and dad. This coming week is the last of my 4 week summer class, which means I had to finish everything this weekend. I’m impressed with what I was able to accomplish! I have to record one last speech today and that completes the course. Two weeks off before my next class starts, it’s going to be blissful!
Remember to smile! You never know how much it can benefit others. Push for positivity and continue to spread the love! It’s a great, big, beautiful world we are living in.
Hugs!
